Jüngling (18) festgenommen: Tintinnabulation for Freedom Struggle and Threats on Christmas Eve
A 18-year-old man was remanded in custody for two weeks at Hordaland District Court, accused of freedom deprivation and threats on Christmas Eve. Democrat Prosecutor Elisabeth Bru in Vest Police District confirmed this to NRK.
The prosecution had requested a remand in custody of four weeks for the accused, but the court decided on two weeks. Hordaland District Court has imposed a ban on disclosing the contents of the decision.
The accused’s lawyer, Jørgen Riple, told NRK that his client did not acknowledge guilt. He also stated that they had not decided yet whether to appeal the custody decision. Beyond this, Riple declined to comment further.
