Young Man injured in Dune accident, Transferred to Penna Hospital
A 25-year-old man, identified as Iván Safar, was rushed to Penna Hospital after a Moto accident on the dunes of Pehuen Co today. The incident happened around 4 p.m. in an area accessible only by 4×4 vehicles, close to the Vialidad camping.
Safar, along with a friend, was riding a motocross bike when he lost control and fell, suffering a severe head injury. His companion alerted the authorities, who arrived with the assistance of lifeguards to the remote location.
Safar was immediately transferred to the Penna Hospital due to the severity of his injury, a traumatic brain injury. The young man is from our city and was visiting the popular balneary area for the holidays.
Authorities remind visitors of the importance of following safety guidelines when engaging in off-road activities, especially while riding motocross bikes. They urged the public to stay vigilant and cautious while enjoying outdoor activities to prevent similar incidents.
