The fourth season of the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime series will return for its third cours in July 2027, according to an announcement made by the anime’s staff on Friday. Alongside the main series update, the production team confirmed that Wataru Kajika’s spinoff manga, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Clayman’s Revenge, is slated for a television anime adaptation debuting in April 2027.
Clayman’s Revenge Spinoff Anime Production Details
The television adaptation of Clayman’s Revenge will feature the return of Takehiro Koyasu to voice the character Clayman. Kentarō Sugimoto, who served as an episode director for Blue Lock and the third season of Laid-Back Camp, is directing the spinoff at studio 8-Bit. Yūji Haibara is overseeing the series scripts after previously handling graphic design for the franchise. Additional staff members include Asumi Hashimoto designing sub-characters, and Hideki Sakai returning as chief animation director. Kajika launched the original spinoff manga in April 2022, and Kodansha publishes the series digitally in English via its K MANGA service as well as in print.

The fourth season of the main anime debuted on April 3 on NTV’s one-hour “Friday Anime Night” programming block at 11:00 p.m. JST, followed by a BS11 broadcast on April 4 at 10:00 p.m. JST. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs. According to the production team, the fourth season is scheduled for a total run of five cours, with the first two cours broadcasting continuously. Studio 8-Bit is returning to animate the season, with Miho Okasaki reprising her role as protagonist Rimuru Tempest.
