LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Soccer team announced its 2026 Big 12 schedule on Monday afternoon, following a successful 2025 campaign and a third-straight NCAA Round of 32 appearance.
Season Outlook
Led by 20-year head coach Tom Stone, the Red Raiders finished the 2025 season with a 7-1-3 record. Over the last 29 Big 12 contests, the team has secured 23 wins and an overall record of 23-2-7 in those matches.
The 2026 season will begin with a road match against UCF in Orlando on September 17th. The Red Raiders will then return home to host Cincinnati on September 24th for their Big 12 home opener.
A three-game homestand follows, with matches against Colorado on September 27th and Arizona State on October 2nd. The team will then embark on a three-game road trip, facing Oklahoma State on October 8th, TCU on October 11th, and BYU on October 16th.
October will conclude with a home game against West Virginia on October 22nd – the first matchup against the Mountaineers since 2022 – a road game at Utah on October 25th, and a final home game against Baylor on October 30th. The regular season will close on November 5th with a game at Kansas.
Roster Updates
Texas Tech will appear to All-Big 12 selections Kylie Bahr and Taylor Zdrojewski for leadership. The team also anticipates the return of Chloe Soto and Kaitlyn Giametta, who both missed the 2025 season due to knee injuries.
Coach Stone has also added BYU transfer Abbi Sine and former Florida State starting goalkeeper Addie Todd to the roster, alongside an eight-player freshman class.
The top eight teams in the final 2026 Big 12 standings will qualify for the Big 12 Tournament, scheduled for November 9-14 at a location yet to be determined.
