Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has officially launched his first commercial campaign for Tommy Hilfiger, marking a major milestone in his multi-season partnership with the brand. The digital and paid social campaign, themed Only In New York,
dropped in the early morning. The commercial was filmed during a two-day shoot in April at The Plaza Hotel, a luxurious New York City residence where designer Tommy Hilfiger once lived for 11 years.
Travis Kelce Makes Global Advertising Debut for Tommy Hilfiger
In the one-minute, 45-second film spot, Kelce is seen wearing a gray hoodie and khaki coat while fist-bumping a doorman. Throughout the video, he interacts with a star-studded cast of brand ambassadors and cultural figures, including South Korean singer and songwriter Peggy Gou, model Gigi Hadid, and South Korean singer and brand ambassador Jisoo. Kelce also shares a drink with tennis player Frances Tiafoe and former NBA star Carmelo Anthony, before stepping outside in a letter jacket to meet Tommy Hilfiger, who rolls down a cab window and exclaims, What are the chances?
The campaign also features a surprise appearance by Kelce’s real-life white Samoyed dog, Wendy, with whom the tight end relaxes on a striped lounger at The Plaza Hotel and gets cozy on a couch. Additional scenes show Kelce modeling a navy peacoat, white turtleneck, flannel, and a varsity jacket while holding a football in Central Park.
A Multi-Season Partnership Rooted in Classic American Cool
The campaign stems from a broader multi-season partnership announced when Tommy Hilfiger welcomed the three-time Super Bowl champion as a global brand ambassador and creative collaborator. The collaboration spans fashion, art, music, entertainment, and sport, showcasing co-designed menswear and accessories that refresh the brand’s classic aesthetic through Kelce’s perspective.

Tommy Hilfiger global chief marketing officer Virginia Ritchie praised the visual work, calling the film spot magnificent.
Ritchie also noted that the partnership will feature one of the brand’s biggest out-of-home pushes in a long time, with Kelce’s next collaboration slated for February in a video featuring other celebrities. Prior to Kelce, sports figures such as Rafael Nadal and Lewis Hamilton represented the fashion company, alongside other contemporary icons like Gigi Hadid, Zendaya, and Damson Idris.
Kelce expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting his lifelong affinity for the brand. Ever since high school, when I used to ask my mom to buy Sailing Gear jackets, I’ve been drawn towards the brand’s confident style,
Kelce said.
Balancing Major Off-Field Ventures With Football and Business
The fashion campaign arrives as Kelce balances an extensive portfolio of business ventures alongside his athletic career. In addition to his role with Tommy Hilfiger, Kelce recently joined the French advertising agency Publicis Groupe as an adviser for Tekta, a new business designed to help brands select, structure, and measure Name, Image, and Likeness partnerships with student athletes and schools.
Kelce’s diverse business portfolio also includes co-owning Garage Beer with his brother Jason, holding a stake in Accelerator Energy, co-hosting the New Heights podcast, and participating in the Alpine Formula One ownership group alongside Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
On the gridiron, Kelce is preparing for his 14th NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs. He enters the 2026 season operating under a one-year contract with the Chiefs worth $12 million, featuring two additional void years added for salary cap purposes. With upcoming brand events including a September 10 fashion show staged at The Plaza Hotel, Kelce continues to bridge the worlds of elite sports and international fashion.
