Chaotic Snow Conditions Disrupt Major Highways in Bulgaria
Bulgaria’s roads are in a state of disarray due to heavy snowfall, with users taking to social media to document the challenging conditions. According to eyewitnesses on Bulgaria ON AIR, a truck had reportedly jackknifed near the "Trajanovi Vrata" interchange, blocking traffic in both directions on the "Trakiya" motorway. The incident added to the escalating difficulties on major road arteries across the country.
Despite the "Puthna Infrastukturna" Agency opening both lanes of the "Topli Dol" tunnel and deploying snowplows, some sections of the road remain uncleared. Many social media users have commented that snow has not been adequately cleared from the roads.
