Notably, 11 of these talented individuals will be joining MaineHealth Maine Medical Center as residents, answering the call to serve their community.

Students engage in a structured process, applying by fall, interviewing, and then ranking their preferred residency placements. The NRMP pairs them with programs based on mutual rankings, culminating in this life-changing announcement.
“It is so exciting to see all my hard work come to fruition,” reflects Joshua Parbs, one of the students matching at MaineHealth, with a focus on pediatrics.

Formed 17 years ago, the MaineTrack program under the TUSM-MHMMC (Tufts University School of Medicine – MaineHealth Maine Medical Center) is pivotal in addressing Maine’s physician shortage. Over 439 physicians have graduated, with 85 now practicing in Maine, underscoring the program’s local impact.
