Ukraine Confirms Strike on Russian Brigade Command in Loygo
The Strategic Communications Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has provided an update on the December 25 strike against the 810th Separate Brigade of the Russian Naval Infantry in Loygo, Kursk region. According to the latest information, it is likely that the deputy commander of the brigade and another 17 Russian military personnel have perished in the attack.
In a statement posted on their social media platforms, StratCom reported, "Based on the updated information, the building where the command post of the 810th OBRМP was located has been partially destroyed. As a result of the strike, it is presumed that the deputy commander of the brigade and another 17 servicemen of the RF Armed Forces, most of whom are staff officers, have perished."
Ukrainian forces targeted the command post of the 810th Separate Brigade of the Russian Naval Infantry in the Loygo settlement during the night of December 24-25. The strike is part of the ongoing efforts by the Ukrainian military to degrade Russian command and control structures.
The AFU has pledged to continue its offensive operations against significant Russian military targets, maintaining its commitment to repelling the ongoing occupation.
