Title: Ukrainian Forces Foil Russian Assault, Deal Heavy Blow to Enemy Machinery

Ukrainian forces have successfully repelled a Russian assault near Kurdiumivka, inflicting significant damage to enemy military equipment. The Ukrainian State Border Guard Service announced that the clash resulted in the destruction of seven enemy units, including tanks and armored personnel carriers.

Ukrainian border guards from the "Phoenix" detachment of the "Vengeance" Brigade put a halt to the Russian invasion in the vicinity of Kurdiumivka, Donetsk region. According to the border guards, three tanks were neutralized, two of which were T-72 models. One of the tanks was destroyed by a remotely triggered mine, while four armored personnel carriers were incapacitated thanks to the skillful operation of heavy-duty Vampire and FPV drones.

Military experts have been weighing in on the situation. David Sharpe, a military analyst, believes there are two main strategies for the complete deoccupation of Ukrainian territories: significantly bolstering the Ukrainian army and causing the disintegration of the Russian Federation or a shift in its leadership.

Meanwhile, Ivan Stupak, a former employee of the Security Service of Ukraine, expressed concern that the enemy aims to intercept a crucial route for the Ukrainian military, emphasizing the urgency of swift territorial conquest as a Russian priority.

Elsewhere, in Crimea, local authorities have declared a state of emergency. Panic has reportedly spread among occupying forces, but the cause of this apparent anxiety remains unknown.

In other news, a lull before the storm has been reported in Pokrovsk. During this respite, Ukrainian forces are fortifying their defenses with the deployment of a new mechanized brigade equipped with Leopard 2 tanks.
