Ukraine‘s Weather Outlook: Mild Spell Ends, Cold Snap Ahead

The brief warm spell that swept across Ukraine is nearing its end, with forecasts predicting a return of colder temperatures. Ukrainian meteorologist Nataliya Didenko shared on her Facebook page that after a mild start to the week, temperatures will once again dip this weekend.

In Kiev, expect 3-5°C on Monday, with a slight uptick to 7°C on Friday. However, the mercury will start to fall on Saturday and Sunday, with Nataliya warning of a significant cold snap on the way.

Comparable trends were shared by Ihor Kybalchych, another esteemed meteorologist, who forecasts a shift in weather conditions throughout the week. He warns of potential rain, snow, and even snowstorms by the weekend.

Friday could see some rain, primarily in western regions, with temperatures ranging from 8-13°C (around 14-16°C in Crimea).Prepare for rain turning into snow in western areas on Saturday, possibly causing slippery roads due to freezing rain or snow. Expect temperatures to drop to around -1°C to +4°C in affected regions, with the rest of the country experiencing 2-7°C (and up to 17°C in Crimea).

Sunday could bring rain and snow to southern, central, and northern regions, with temperatures ranging from -1°C to +3°C in western and northern areas, and 2-7°C elsewhere (with some warmer spots in Crimea and the Azov region).

Stay informed and prepared for these changing weather conditions to ensure your safety and comfort.
