Headline: Ukrainian Air Force Denies Reports of Pilot Captured in Kursk, Russia

Article:

The Ukrainian Air Force has dismissed reports circulating in Russian propaganda media suggesting that a Ukrainian pilot has been taken captive in Kursk, Russia. In a statement released on their Facebook page, the Air Force Command clarified that all Ukrainian pilots remain committed to their duties defending the country.

"Russian propaganda outlets are spreading false information that a Ukrainian pilot has surrendered in Kursk," the statement read. "While we cannot ignore instances of captured military personnel who previously served in the Air Force, we can confirm that the claims about the Ukrainian pilot’s capture are unfounded. Our pilots are steadfast in their mission to protect Ukraine."

The Air Force reminded the public that enemy propaganda, including captive soldiers’ interviews, is part of Russia’s disinformation campaign aimed at demoralizing Ukrainian forces and civilians, both at home and abroad.
