Ukraine‘s Military Displays Historic Innovation with ‘Cater-Aircraft Carriers’
Military journalist and analyst, Petro Shukliorov, has made headlines with his unique observations on the evolving landscape of the Ukrainian military. Shukliorov has noted the emergence of what he’s dubbed "caters-aircraft carriers," marking a significant shift in Ukraine’s strategic capabilities.
Shukliorov, who also serves in the Ukrainian military, shared his thoughts on the recent, historic event. "The destruction of two Russian ‘Pantsir‘ and ‘Osa‘ systems in the depths of the enemy’s territory in the temporarily occupied Skadovsk of Kherson region is more than a military success. It signals a paradigm shift," he opined.
The military specialist revealed that these victories were achieved using drones launched from unmanned marine vessels, transforming the role of these ‘caters.’ Initially serving as ‘kamikaze’ boats and airborne defense platforms, they have now evolved into ‘caters-aircraft carriers,’ significantly altering the dynamics of drone warfare on both land and sea.
Shukliorov, visibly impressed, expressed his respect and admiration for those involved in the development, implementation, and the special operation in Skadovsk. He eagerly awaits detailed official reports on this groundbreaking feat, which was first reported on January 6.
