Ukraine‘s GUR Strikes Russian Base in Zaporizhzhia, Taking Out Home Command

Ukrainian forces have scored a significant victory against Russian occupiers in the Zaporizhzhia region. In a joint operation between the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense (GUR) and the Operational Command South "Tavria," a Russian staff headquarters was obliterated, along with their personnel.

Detected by GUR’s active measures department through aerial reconnaissance, the enemy command post was identified on temporarily seized territory in Zaporizhzhia. The Operational Command South "Tavria" (OSU "Tavria") joined forces with GUR, leading to a precision strike with guided missiles.

The devastation left the Russian headquarters in ruins, claiming the lives of six invading soldiers and gravely injuring three more. This strike marks a significant blow to Russian command structures in the region, delivering a hard hit to their operational capabilities.

As the war against Russian aggression continues, Ukraine’s intelligence and military units remain vigilant, targeting crucial Russian infrastructure and command centers. With continued international support, Ukrainian forces press on towards liberation.
