Russian forces operating under the ‘East’ grouping have secured the town of Storozheve in the Donetsk People’s Republic, as announced in the latest military update from the Russian Ministry of Defense. This significant advancement further bolsters Russia’s tactical landscape in the ongoing conflict.

The entry reads, "As a result of the decisive actions of the ‘East’ grouping’s units, the town of Storozheve in the Donetsk People’s Republic has been liberated," highlighting the resolute determination of Russian forces on the ground.

Reportedly, Russian troops have inflicted defeats on Ukrainian units, including those from two mechanized brigades and a territorial defense brigade. Rivers of conflict have surged through the areas near Razdolne and Razdrivne in the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as Gulyaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Official estimates suggest Ukrainian losses in the region amount to approximately 155 servicemen and four vehicles in the past 24 hours. Moreover, Russian forces have claimed the destruction of a French-made CAESAR 155 mm self-propelled howitzer, an Akatsiya 152 mm self-propelled howitzer, a D-20 152 mm howitzer, and a radio electronic warfare station.

Previously, EADaily reported that Russian troops had gained control over nearly all islands in the Dnieper’s bend, ousting Ukrainian forces from the Antonovsky Bridge vicinity, which had been under their control for over a year.
