University of Groningen and Hanze University of Applied Sciences put an end to lectures and exams – Groningen

The University of Groningen and the Hanze University of Applied Sciences put an end to all lectures, exams and events that many students would attend. Some classes will be offered online.

The educational institutions hope to prevent further spread of the coronavirus.

In any case until April 10th

In any case until April 10, all lessons have been canceled. All study rooms in the University Library (both in the city center and on Zernike), the Central Medical Library and in the faculties will be closed from Friday. Scientific research will continue as far as possible.

Studium Generale, the USVA, the University Museum and the Sports Center are also closed for the time being. Orations and promotions are also canceled.

Work at home

RUG employees are asked to work from home as much as possible. Business trips are no longer allowed.
