In the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine, Russian forces continue to exert significant pressure on the strategic town of Pisky in the foothills of the Donbas region. Despite being outmatched in resources, Ukrainian forces remain defiant, employing maximal efforts to prevent Russia’s advance.
Countering Russian ambitions, the National Guard of Ukraine, led by Hero of Ukraine Captain Vitaliy Litvin, maintains a firm stance on the Pisky front. "The enemy knows that entering direct combat in urban areas like Pisky or Mirnohrad would incur heavy losses," Litvin stated during a telethon. "We estimate that around 300-400 occupying soldiers are neutralized daily due to their failed maneuvers."
Russian forces, however, boast substantial military assets, including an abundance of artillery and armored vehicles. "One of our National Guard brigades alone can destroy up to 30 enemy rocket launcher systems a month," Litvin added, "yet, they continue to deploy more reinforcements."
