Chinese Actor ‘Xing Xing’ Goes Missing: Thai Authorities Search for Leads
In a developing story that has captured attention in both China and Thailand, renowned Chinese actor Xing Xing has gone missing while traveling in Thailand’s Mae Sot district, Tak province. The story gained traction when his wife arrived in Bangkok and reported his disappearance to both the Chinese embassy and Thai authorities.
The Chinese embassy in Bangkok has confirmed being aware of the situation, stating, "The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Thailand and the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Chiang Mai have received a request for assistance from family members of the relevant person. We are maintaining close communication with the relevant departments in Thailand and the family, providing the necessary assistance and making every effort to locate the person."
Internal security sources have revealed that initial investigations have not provided concrete evidence of Xing Xing entering Thailand via legal channels. The Border Control and Immigration checkpoint at Mae Sot could not verify his entry due to insufficient information provided on social media. Furthermore, Xing Xing was not spotted crossing the H umanhinfarn Immigration Checkpoint in Tak province.
While there are no indications that Xing Xing crossed the border through natural paths, as he reportedly traveled by van, his whereabouts remain unknown. The search continues as authorities work tirelessly to locate the missing actor.
