During a Turning Point USA gathering in UVU’s Fountain Courtyard that drew roughly 3,000 attendees, the 31-year-old commentator was shot amid a perimeter of high-rise structures and raised pathways. Kirk was shot and killed by a sniper perched on a rooftop more than 400 feet (122 meters) away, authorities said.
