Smolyan Highway Collision: Cars Clash Near Sv. Paneteleiimon; Emergency Services Respond
A head-on collision between two vehicles occurred today shortly before 4 PM on the Smolyan-Pamporovo road, near Sv. Paneteleiimon. Quickly responding to the incident were two units from the fire department, police, and emergency medical services.
Initial reports suggested that there were trapped passengers, but fortunately, all parties were able to exit their vehicles safely.
As of now, there are no reported serious injuries, according to the director of the Regional Service "Fire Safety and Population Protection" in Smolyan, Senior Commissioner Chavdar Kitukov.
Traffic in the area is currently disrupted.
