40-Year-Old Bulgarian Woman Beats Death: Suffered Severe Injuries, Passed Away from Chest Injury
In a grim incident reported last week, a 40-year-old woman from Sofia succumbed to injuries sustained during a severe assault by her husband in the capital’s University Multiprofile Hospital "Tsaritsa Yoanna – ISUL". The woman was admitted with a broken neck, according to a report by Nova TV.
The victim, identified as Eva Belcheva, had met her husband, Arof Sadula, a Greek citizen, while working as a waitress in Xanthi, Greece. Sadula has since been arrested in Greece and faces charges of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and inflicting severe physical injury.
In a heart-wrenching interview, Eva’s sister, Stefka Belcheva, disclosed the horrifying details of her sister’s final moments. "She had a piece of iron driven into her head. There were two holes in her skull and a rope binding her head to the bed frame, to keep it stable. They said it was because her neck was broken too badly. She was alive, trapped in a dead body. Her vital functions like breathing, eating, drinking, all stopped."
