Viktor Verhulst and his fiancée Sarah Puttemans have showcased the ongoing construction of their luxury villa in an upscale neighborhood of Antwerp, revealing structural progress and detailed interior layouts in the television program De Verhulstjes, Pure Luxe reported. The project advanced after the couple secured their building permit in April 2025.
Construction Progress at the Antwerp Villa Site
Three months into 2026, building work on the property located in Wilrijk is moving forward after construction officially started in the autumn of 2026, according to Showbizzsite.be. Crews have erected scaffolding, set interior walls, and are currently installing insulation and exterior masonry. The next phase involves upcoming roof work and the installation of internal systems such as water, electricity, heating, and plumbing.
During a site visit captured by PLAY and broadcast via Pure Luxe, Puttemans looked over the framework and joked about the structure’s stability. Meanwhile, Viktor Verhulst showed frustration when questioned about the timeline by his father Gert, stating that he receives inquiries about the project daily and prefers to be left alone.
Diverging Interior Design Choices for the Couple
Inside the future residence, the couple discussed distinct room preferences for the layout. Puttemans mapped out the living room space to accommodate a large sofa anticipating a future family, alongside an integrated television unit and a bookshelf. Her primary focus remains a spacious dressing room that will double as a workspace with lighting ideal for recording videos.
Verhulst prioritized a private home bar modeled after cinematic depictions of unwinding with a drink after a long workday. Earlier discussions regarding separate bedrooms were dismissed by Puttemans, though the couple agreed on bed placement and the incorporation of a backyard swimming pool.
