President Zelensky: Not Focused on Second Term as Ukraine‘s Leader
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has asserted that he is not preoccupied with the possibility of running for a second presidential term. In an interview for the "United News" telethon on Thursday, January 2, Zelensky stated that this is not his primary goal at the moment.
"I don’t know how the war will end. If I’ve done more than I can, maybe I’ll look at that decision differently. But today, it’s not my focus, my goal," stated Zelensky.
The president emphasized that his main priorities are to protect Ukraine, end the war, and rebuild the nation following Russia’s aggression.
Previously, Zelensky responded to the terrorist attack in New Orleans, expressing that Ukrainians are shocked by the news. He also discussed the halt of Russian gas transit, describing it as one of "Moscow’s most significant losses."
