Heavy Snowfall in Petrohan; Sнегоrin in Action, Drivers Advised to Take Precaution
Petrohan, Bulgaria — The snow cover has reached 50 cm, with an additional 20 cm accumulated over the last few hours. Eight snow-clearing machines, including a rotor sнегоrin, are diligently working to keep the route open. The sнегоrin is effectively removing the accumulated snow and widening the roadway.
Despite it being a non-working day, traffic through Petrohan is intense, according to the public-road administration. Drivers are advised to embark on their journeys equipped with suitable winter tires and fully charged fuel tanks. In the area surrounding Berkovica, rain transitions to snow from Brzia to Sofia.
