Bbrecht Woman Drives Car into Garage in Snowy Conditions; Driver Injured

In the early hours of Thursday, a woman lost control of her vehicle, crashing into a garage in Berkel-Enschot. The incident occurred at the Durendaelweg, at the curve connecting with the Pieter Bruegellaan.

The woman drove straight into the garage of a house, leaving a considerable dent and injury in its wake. Emergency services including police, fire, and ambulance were promptly dispatched to the scene.

The driver sustained a head wound and received on-site medical treatment. The garage, meanwhile, bore the brunt of the impact, suffering a large hole from the collision.

Initial investigations suggest that the accident was caused by slippery road conditions due to snowfall. As a precaution, a gritting lorry was sent to treat the intersection and curve.
