Three championships hang in the balance alongside a long-standing feud as WWE presents its Crown Jewel premium live event from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, airing at noon ET via ESPN Unlimited in the United States and on Netflix internationally, according to ESPN and CBS Sports. The Saturday card features two champion-versus-champion matches, a Last Man Standing grudge match, and a tag team title defense.
Production logistics for the event involve remote broadcasting setups. PWInsider reported that WWE is handling the bulk of production work—including play-by-play and color commentary—from headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, rather than sending commentators Michael Cole and Corey Graves to Riyadh, according to Cageside Seats. WrestleVotes noted that crew members were offered hazard pay following recent attacks at the Riyadh airport, leading some staff to decline the trip.
Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn Collision in Riyadh
World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns meets Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn in a non-title clash for the Crown Jewel Championship, CBS Sports reported. Zayn split from The Bloodline years ago and nearly dethroned Reigns at Elimination Chamber in February 2023 in Montreal. Now holding the undisputed title in 2026, Zayn enters the ring while Reigns holds the World Heavyweight Championship.

CBS Sports panelist Shakiel Mahjouri predicts a victory for Zayn, citing potential interference from The 946 during the main event. ESPN panelist Sean Coyle offers a contrasting prediction, noting that Reigns has been untouchable in 2026 and projecting win number eight for the year. Mark Kaboly anticipates a clean win for Sami Zayn, pointing to Reigns’ preoccupation with The 946 and upcoming Survivor Series: WarGames matches.
Liv Morgan and Chelsea Green Women’s Championship Bout
Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan faces Champion Chelsea Green in the women’s Crown Jewel title match, CBS Sports reported. Green earned her status by winning a five-woman ladder match at SummerSlam as the first interim champion on the main roster before being elevated to full champion.
CBS Sports experts project a victory for Morgan, arguing that her character benefits more from the win while framing Green as a scrappy underdog. Conversely, Mark Kaboly predicts a win for Green in a scenario where the title remains unattached to the match stakes, giving Green her defining Crown Jewel moment.
Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton Settled in Last Man Standing Match
Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton collide in a Last Man Standing match to settle a rivalry that escalated after Orton delivered a punt to Rhodes following their WrestleMania season encounter in April, CBS Sports reported. Mark Kaboly frames the matchup around whether Rhodes will give in to temptation and deploy the punt himself. CBS Sports Shakiel Mahjouri projects a victory for Rhodes to carry momentum into a new feud, noting the stipulation implies finality.
