Xiaomi 18 Leaks Alongside POCO X8s and Motorola Razr Flex

Leaked details of the standard Xiaomi 18 have emerged alongside news of the impending presentation of the POCO X8s and the design of the Motorola Razr Flex, the brand’s first wide foldable phone, according to Tudocelular.

While the standard Xiaomi 18 is expected to reach international markets in December, Xiaomi president Lu Weibing confirmed via Weibo that the global versions of the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will be launched earlier, in November 2026. This changes the release strategy, as these flagships typically arrive in international markets months after their Chinese debut. The company is reportedly accelerating this timeline to maintain its position as the first global launch featuring Qualcomm’s new processors, potentially competing with the Motorola Signature 27.

Xiaomi 18 Features Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip and Massive Battery

Preliminary data for the standard Xiaomi 18 suggests a high-performance configuration featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip and a 200-megapixel main lens. The device is expected to maintain a compact form factor with a 6.4-inch flat 1.5K resolution screen using M11 panel technology. This launch follows the registration of a new product code in China, with the brand intending to present the device individually at the end of the year.

The hardware is further highlighted by a significant battery capacity of 7,200 mAh, supporting 100W wired fast charging and wireless induction charging. The camera system is rumored to be a triple setup consisting of:

  • A 200 MP main sensor (1/1.28 inch)
  • A 50 MP ultrawide lens
  • A 200 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom

Pro and Pro Max Variants Introduce Privacy Screens and Dual Processors

The Pro and Pro Max variants, announced on September 23, are the most complete models in the portfolio. They feature privacy screens and are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipsets. These models also include a secondary display on the rear. The Pro series will debut 2nm Snapdragon Dual 8 Elite processors designed for the AI era. While specific global technical sheets have not been released, the privacy screen, rear display, and processors are expected to be preserved in the international versions.
