Ukrainians now have until February 28, 2025, to submit their applications for the state assistance. This winter period extension allows more citizens to access the financial aid.
Usage Period
While the application deadline is February 28, 2025, it’s crucial to note that the funds can be used until December 31, 2025. This extended usage period gives beneficiaries ample time to allocate the resources accordingly.
Eligible Expenses
The Diia platform has reminded citizens that the received funds can be utilized for a wide range of services. These include:
- Utilities: Communal payments for housing services.
- Health & Legal Services: Medical, veterinary, and legal services.
- Education: Tuition fees and educational resources.
- Leisure & Travel: Sport activities, recreation, and transportation costs.
- Communications: Mobile services and internet access.
- Financial Protection: Insurance premiums and savings.
- Entertainment & Philanthropy: Personal leisure activities and donations to charity or the Ukrainian military via military obligations.
As a sign of unity and support for the country, funds can also be used for blind contributions to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) or the purchase of military loan bonds.
