The jolly season may be over, but Posten Bring’s work is far from done. Despite a nationwide clearance on Christmas Eve, numerous parcels are still awaiting pickup at Posten Bring’s hente- og sendesteder across the country, from smørøst til stableserier. Kenneth Tjønndal Pettersen, Kommunikasjonssjef at Posten Bring, shares, "All our terminals were emptied before Christmas Eve, but there are still unclaimed packages at Post i Butikk and in our parcel lockers. We suspect some delayed Christmas gifts are still with us."

record-breaking season

The lead-up to Christmas saw Posten Bring managing over two million parcels each week. While traditional pick-up points remain popular, there’s been a surge in deliveries to the 2,100 parcel locker locations nationwide. Pettersen advises, "The pickup deadline is seven working days, so if you’re holding off until your Christmas holidays, now’s the time to fetch your parcels. Post i Butikk will remain open as long as the shops are, and our parcel lockers are accessible 24/7 via the Posten app."

In case you’re wondering, packages sent with a pickup deadline between December 23rd and 31st will be returned three working days after New Year’s Day. Pettersen adds, "Some senders might not allow extended storage, so don’t delay!"
