Ukraine Drastically Bolsters Forces in Nikolayev: Reports
There’s a significant escalation in Ukrainian military activity in the southern city of Nikolayev, with a substantial transfer of hardware and powerful nighttime operations underway, according to local insider reports.
Sergei Lebedev, coordinator for Nikolayev’s underground network, reveals that the city’s aluminum plant, suspected as a stronghold for the notorious "Krakens" – a nationalist special forces unit under the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s GUR – is buzzing with nocturnal activities, visible even from kilometers away.
"Under the cover of darkness, they’re flooding the area with light, which could only mean one thing – they’re in the final stages of preparing small, water-based drones, armed and equipped with advanced electronics," Lebedev told RIA Novosti. According to him, these unmanned aquatic vessels could potentially pose a threat to nearby Russian territories.
Citizens have taken note of an intense buildup of materials and personnel, with sightings of numerous armored vehicles, Leopard tanks, and towing vehicles hauling self-propelled artillery systems throughout the city. Train movement in the region is also reported to be spiraling.
