Title: Stranded Family Rescued in Konyarsko Before Holidays
A family from Gurbino found themselves in a dire situation in the village of Konyarsko, Traynov municipality, when they were trapped for days without electricity or food. Two women and a man had arrived at their family home in the village before the holidays. They were rescued today by high clearance vehicles provided by the Gabrovian Fire Department.
Details of the Rescue Mission
The rescue mission involved two firefighters, Traynov municipality fire chief Stoyan Stoyanov, and Plamen Kraylev, director of the municipal enterprise for greening. The family was immediately provided with food and water.
The rescue team used two off-road vehicles (UTVs) and a trailer from the Gabrovian Fire Department’s regional service. With the collective efforts from Gabrovian, Traynov municipality, and the family, they succeeded in their mission.
"The trapped family in Konyarsko is now in Traynov and on their way back to Gurbino," confirmed Stoyan Stoyanov, chief of the fire department’s regional service.
Another rescue team is currently assisting "Energy-Pro" to repair damage and restore power in the Ferevtsi area.
