Bulgarian music icon and "Akaga" co-founder Krasi Kurtev has left us, according to close ones who shared the news with BTA. The talented musician, born on July 25, 1970, in Sofia, Bulgaria, completed his musical education at the National Musical High School "Lyubomir Pipkov" and later graduated from the National Music Academy "Pancho Vladigerov". His lifelong dedication to music led him to become a co-founder of "Akaga" and a key figure in establishing the Bulgarian Music Association (BMA).
Tributes pour in for the late musician, with fellow "Akaga" alumnus Yassen Velchev expressing his grief on Facebook: "Rest in peace, dear friend…"
In a recent interview, Kurtev and his son, Neo Kurtev, shared their love for music in an episode of "Christmas Rock ‘n’ Roll Evening" and a special edition of "The Cherry on the Cake".
