Cesar pointed out that political and economic conditions are conducive to the regime’s eventual collapse, with a potential trigger event looming on the horizon. "Something might happen to spark a wave of resistance among Russians," he said, adding that the current situation closely mirrors the atmosphere preceding the collapse of the Soviet Union.
