PetFest 2026 Concert Details
PetFest 2026 takes place on Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Blaster Power House, located at 345 Queen St. E. in Sault Ste. Marie. The musical fundraiser runs from 4 p.m. until midnight, featuring eight hours of live entertainment. Tickets are priced at $20, with all proceeds donated to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society.
Andrew Pucci Organizes Musical Fundraiser
Local singer and songwriter Andrew Pucci organized the event to support the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society, SooToday reported. Pucci decided to produce the multi-band bill after volunteering at the shelter. He began helping the organization following the death of his cat, Luna, a Russian Blue he had owned for 10 years. Pucci adopted Luna from The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) when she was approximately three years old. I really felt like Luna was like my child. She was my constant companion, my best friend,
Pucci told SooToday. He composed a song titled Lunar
in honor of Luna, in which he describes her as my daughter, my sweet child.
Yeah, we had an incredible bond and for 10 years she was the best companion anyone could ask for,
Pucci added. After gaining permission from the Blaster Power House ownership, Pucci partnered with the venue to deliver the night of local entertainment.
Performance Lineup at Blaster Power House
The concert features performances by Pucci, who will sing and strum his acoustic guitar, followed by seven additional musical acts. The full lineup includes Five Dollar Bribe, Homeroom Hero, The Preacher and his Jackleg Band, The Reeves, Stones & Crows, A Dire Setback, and Eden Plague. We wanted to give a good window of time for people to come,
Pucci said of the eight-hour schedule.
Future Goals for the PetFest Tradition
Pucci stated he intends for PetFest to become an annual tradition in Sault Ste. Marie. Every year I want it to become a bigger thing,
he noted, expressing a desire to expand the scale of the event next year.

What inspired the creation of the event?
Pucci created the concert to honor his late cat, Luna, who passed away in January.
Are there opportunities for those not ready to adopt?
Pucci advises those mourning a pet to keep those memories alive,
explaining, Our memories are the only things that keep people, and pets who are gone, as real.
He encourages individuals who may not be ready to adopt another cat to spend time volunteering at the shelter and spending time with the cats to help with the healing process.
