Another Armed Confrontation in the City: Three Civilians Detained, One Arrested
The Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) reported that early Saturday morning, another confrontation occurred between police officers and armed civilians on Bulevar Adolfo Ruiz Cortines near the Grijalva I bridge.
The incident, according to the report, involved three armed civilians, resulting in one arrest. The detained individual was found in possession of a pistol, a magazine, a tactical vest, and a mobile phone. No further injuries or details have been released at this time.
This recent altercation follows another confrontation that took place last Friday near the Jesús Taracena campesino market, which led to the detention of three individuals.
