He then allegedly grabbed her and forced her into a vehicle.
Court documents reveal that the situation escalated after his wife managed to escape from the moving vehicle. Investigators determined that Smith attempted multiple times to strike her with the car, though those efforts were unsuccessful. Following his surrender, a judge granted Smith a $500,000 bond with the strict condition that he have no contact with his wife. He is scheduled to make his next appearance in court on August 17.

White admitted that the allegations came as a complete surprise given Smith’s professional standing and his regular role working the broadcast desk as an analyst on Paramount+ for pre- and post-fight shows.
