Health Tracking and Feature Set on the Reflex Active Nexus Lite
The smartwatch supports phone calls directly from the wrist alongside notifications for text messages and social media apps. Built-in health tracking tools monitor heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and sleep patterns, complemented by GPS connectivity and music controls. The package includes a gift box, a charger, instruction manuals, and a two-year manufacturer guarantee.
Customer feedback on the device remains largely positive. One buyer described it as a great affordable alternative to an Apple Watch, praising the soft strap and clear display. Another buyer noted the reliable battery life and simple phone pairing process. However, some users reported minor discrepancies in step-counting accuracy compared to smartphone pedometers. Another criticised the connectivity, though said the battery life isn’t bad, while this happy customer said: So happy with this. It does everything it says and the battery really lasts, too. Great value for money.
Another shopper said: It says I’ve walked 5,000 steps when my phone shows 8,000.
Apple Watch Alert Prompts Open-Heart Surgery for Senior Doctor
Dr Sachdeva was flying to Bengaluru to visit his daughter Pranjali when he felt uneasiness in his chest, and his Apple Watch alerted him to an irregular heart rhythm. A cardiologist in Bengaluru subsequently examined him and found heavy calcification in his heart valve, determining that he would need surgery within six months.
His daughter Pranjali, who wrote to Apple executive chairman Tim Cook to express her gratitude, said her father’s condition had remained undetected despite routine health checks and twice-yearly echocardiograms. By the time the degree of valve calcification he had is typically caught, it is often dangerously late,
she said, adding that the watch served as a crucial early warning that prompted immediate medical evaluation and timely surgical intervention. Pranjali also noted that the watch continues to help the family monitor his heart rate post-surgery, providing real-time alerts whenever his heart rate spikes so they can implement immediate lifestyle adjustments. Impressed by the experience, Pranjali wrote to Tim Cook: I am very aware that his condition would never have been detected had it not been for the watch, and that is why I am writing this note. More than being a health companion, it points you in the right direction.
Asked whether her father would now recommend the watch to others, she said: Absolutely.
Tim Cook replied to Pranjali, saying: Hi Pranjali, I’m so glad your father sought timely medical help and received the treatment he needed. Thank you so much for sharing his story with me. Please convey my best wishes to him.
