Best Buy has officially set its 10-day savings event to run from Thursday, Nov. 19 through Saturday, Nov. 28, Mashable reported. Shoppers do not have to wait until November to secure discounts, as the electronics retailer is rolling out batches of early promotions ahead of the main holiday kickoff.
IGN reports that Best Buy’s holiday shopping calendar began with “DoorBOOsters” running from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1. That initial wave gives way to Early Black Friday Deals and Doorbusters scheduled from Nov. 6 through Nov. 19.
TechRadar notes that these early discounts feature notable price cuts on computing hardware, including Acer, Asus, and HP Chromebooks starting at $179. Best Buy alters its standard price-matching policies during the holiday season. Mashable reports that the retailer will not price-match official Black Friday deals at competing stores, nor items on sale elsewhere from the Thursday before Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday.
If a customer buys an item between now and Dec. 31 and the price drops later at Best Buy, the retailer will refund the difference upon request online or in stores. Holiday decorations, activatable devices like phones under third-party contracts, and non-returnable items such as gift cards are excluded from this guarantee.
