Woman Arrested in connection with Sexual Abuse of Two Men in Mexico City
The Mexico City Attorney General’s Office (FGJCDMX) announced the arrest of a woman suspected of sexually abusing two men. The incidents reportedly occurred between January and April 2024 in a residential building located in the Villa Quietud neighborhood, Coyoacán constituency.
The woman, identified as Dulce "N", is accused of violating two men on four separate occasions. She is currently being held at the Santa Martha Acatitla Women’s Social Rehabilitation Center, pending trial.
Investigators from the FGJCDMX meticulously gathered evidence leading to the suspect’s arrest. According to the official statement, "The persecution strategy enabled the location and detention of the suspect without any use of violence."
In Mexico, sexual abuse is a serious crime, punishable by six to ten years in prison and fines up to two hundred days, as per Article 260 of the Criminal Code:
"Artículo 260. Comete el delito de abuso sexual quien ejecute en una persona, sin su consentimiento, o la obligue a ejecutar para sí o en otra persona, actos sexuales sin el propósito de llegar a la cópula. A quien comete este delito, se le impondrá pena de seis a diez años de prisión y hasta doscientos días multa."
In a separate case, the FGJCDMX reported the arrest of another woman accused of extortion. She was seized while operating within the Santa Martha Acatitla Women’s Social Rehabilitation Center, allegedly collecting various amounts of money through extortion.
These instances underscore the ongoing efforts of the FGJCDMX to maintain public safety and ensure justice, disclosing the arrests of individuals suspected of committing heinous crimes against the population.
