On the night of December 29, 2024, a_report_of_anattack_reached_authorities_in_the_fraccionamiento_Bosques_de_Los_Álamos, where a residence was set on fire. Following the extinguishment of the flames, it was discovered that both victims, Astrid (26) and her son Dante (6), had succumbed to stab wounds, not gunshots or burns.
Later that same night, a man arrived at a nearby hospital with stab wounds. He claimed that the injuries resulted from an attack that transpired in a different location. Since then, he has been hospitalized. Investigations have now revealed that the man’s wounds were sustained during a struggle with his ex-partner before killing Astrid and their son.
Additional details have not yet been disclosed as the suspect has not been formally handed over to the relevant authorities.
