Police Presence Confirmed on Suspicious Vessel in Danish Harbor
COPENHAGEN — The head of the Copenhagen Police patrol, Stefan Ladeby, confirmed to local outlets TV2 and Ekstra Bladet that police were present on a suspicious vessel docked in a Danish harbor.
"We are indeed present at the scene, and I can confirm that we are investigating a matter onboard the ship," Ladeby stated, declining to provide further details about the nature of the investigation, or whether any arrests had been made or injuries sustained.
The vessel, hailed from Limassol, Cyprus, and sailed into Copenhagen from Lithuania, according to TV2. Police maintained a presence at the scene but offered no further comments on the ongoing investigation.
