Breaking: Mass Shooting at Queens Nightclub; 10-13 Injured

In a shocking turn of events, between 10 and 13 people were wounded in a suspected drive-by shooting outside the popular nightclub, Amazura, in Jamaica, Queens late Wednesday night. The New York Police Department (NYPD) confirmed the incident and is currently investigating the matter.
The attack, which occurred around 12:45 AM, involved a grey Infiniti sedan, possibly accompanied by a second vehicle, according to NYPD official reports. The shooters allegedly targeted a group of 15 people, including minors, waiting in line for a private event on the club’s upper floor.
Witnesses and potential CCTV footage are being scrutinized, and nearby hospitals are being canvassed to determine if more victims may have sought medical attention. The number of assailants involved remains undetermined.
NYPD spokesperson declared multiple victims were shot and transported to nearby hospitals, with conditions ranging from stable to critical, but no further details were provided. A press conference is scheduled for Thursday morning to update the public on the situation.
In a separate briefing, NYPD’s Chief of Patrol, Philip Rivera, detailed that four men approached the group outside Amazura Concert Hall and fired approximately 30 shots, injuring 10 people. All victims, aged between 16 and 20, are expected to survive, according to Rivera.
The suspects fled the scene in a light-colored sedan with out-of-state license plates. Their identities and motivations remain undisclosed.
Rivera also shared that the private event was at full capacity with 90 people inside and urged the public to provide additional information.
"Your tips have been crucial in helping us apprehend dangerous individuals over the past few weeks," Rivera stated.
