Borislav Ivanov was last seen leaving his home on December 24, wearing a black jacket, dark blue jeans, and white sneakers. He hadn’t been heard from since, prompting his family to notify the police. Officers from the Sixth District Headquarters launched a search and, on December 29, had the joyous task of informing the Ivanovs that Borislav had been found alive and well.
"I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who helped find him. We were very worried, it’s truly terrifying. The police were also concerned but they managed to find him," said Borislav’s father, Mitko Ivanov. Following Borislav’s return, the family was able to celebrate the New Year together. However, the details of Borislav’s whereabouts during his disappearance remain a mystery, as neither he nor the police have shared any information.
This isn’t the first time Borislav has gone missing. Two years ago, he also disappeared but later turned up in Sofia, seeking help from the police. In that instance, he also didn’t elaborate on his activities during his absence.
While the Ivanovs and the police are likely focusing on the joy of Borislav’s safe return, the mystery of his brief disappearances may continue to linger. As for Borislav, he is presumably glad to be back home with his family, ready to face whatever the new year may bring.
