Brandon McNulty Unveils Custom Colnago Bicycle for Giro dell’Emilia
Following his victory in Canada, UAE Team Emirates outfitted McNulty in his official champion’s kit. In addition to the jersey, his team bike received an aesthetic upgrade with subtle rainbow accents integrated into the frame. Manufacturer Colnago supplied the black machine, a brand familiar with custom world championship designs due to previous victories by Tadej Pogacar, according to reporting by In de Leiderstrui. McNulty completed his first test ride in the complete champion’s setup ahead of the Italian autumn classic.
Tackling the Slopes of San Luca in New Colors
The Giro dell’Emilia presents an immediate test for the fresh world champion on the steep climbs of the San Luca in Italy. McNulty will not be able to blend into the peloton as he transitions from his surprise win in North America to the European autumn calendar. In de Leiderstrui noted that the American traveled directly to Italy to begin his late-season campaign, bypassing the European Championships in Slovenia where fellow world titleholder Demi Vollering debuted her own rainbow kit.
