Headline: Disruptions on Bulgarian Rails: Morning Train Cancellations and Delays

Bulgarian State Railways (Bulgarian: Български Държавни Железопътници – BDZ) has announced disruptions to its rail schedule this morning due to technical issues.
The Kray artists’ train from Plovdiv, departing at 06:05 towards Asenovgrad, has been cancelled due to damage to an electric motor coach. Affected passengers are advised to reorient towards subsequent trains on the same route, as per BDZ’s information.
Moreover, the return journey train from Asenovgrad to Plovdiv, scheduled for 06:37, has also been cancelled for the same reason.
In the meantime, Train No. 80140 from Burgas to Sliven, set to depart at 07:35, is experiencing delays at Burgas station due to problems with the locomotive.
Further disruptions include delays to trains from Gorna Oryahovitsa to Shumen, from Karlovo to Sofia, and from Karnobat to Varna.
Lastly, Overnight Express No. 832 from Varna to Sofia has deviated from its planned schedule, running 15 minutes late following locomotive damage in Dimitrovgrad station.
BDZ urged passengers to keep an eye on their official updates and advised those with flexible travel plans to consider alternative routes or timings.
