Title: New Year’s Eve Fireworks in Carlos Paz: Rain or Shine!
As the clock ticks down to midnight on December 31st, thousands of residents and tourists in Carlos Paz find themselves asking the same question: will the iconic New Year’s Eve fireworks display go on, even if it rains?
The annual spectacle, a beloved tradition along the shores of Lake San Roque, typically draws massive crowds eager to bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new one with a breathtaking display of fireworks against the night sky. This year, however, the weather has some people worried.
The municipality has confirmed that the fireworks will indeed launch at 1:00 AM on January 1, 2025, rain or shine. Despite the Service Meteorological National’s alert for possible rain during the early hours of New Year’s Day, local officials have reassured the public that the show will go on.
In case of a heavy downpour, however, the municipality has stated that they will wait for the storm to pass before setting off the fireworks. So, whether you’re a local or a visitor, you can still plan on counting down to 2025 under the brilliant lights of Carlos Paz’s New Year’s Eve fireworks display.
