A collision involving three light vehicles has disrupted traffic on Tsarigradsko Shose Avenue in Sofia. The incident occurred around 11:00 AM today, just after the Orlov Most Bridge, heading towards Plovdiv.
Three vehicles, including a taxi, were involved in the chain reaction accident. Miraculously, there have been no reports of injuries. However, material damage to the vehicles is significant. The aftermath led to substantial congestion on both lanes of the highway.
This is the second such incident on Tsarigradsko Shose in recent months. In November, another chain collision occurred on the same route, causing similar delays and material damage. Authorities are urging drivers to exercise caution and follow traffic rules to prevent such incidents.
As a result of today’s accident, drivers are advised to seek alternative routes to avoid delays. Normal traffic flow is expected to resume once the vehicles are cleared from the highway.
