Oslo Police Report Chlorine Leak at Local Fitness Center
In a statement released at 2:50 PM on Wednesday, Oslo police announced an incident involving a chlorine leak at a fitness center in the city. Although the pool was closed at the time, approximately 40 individuals were evacuated from the adjacent training studio as a precaution.
The leak, according to police, resulted from an imbalance in the chlorine mixture used at the facility, leading to a strong odor. Two individuals were transported to a local clinic due to discomfort caused by the incident. Operations leader Marita Aune of Oslo police confirmed the details and reassured the public that there was no need to evacuate nearby residential buildings.
