Serious Accident on Norwegian National Route 15 in Reknesvika
A severe accident occurred on the national route 15 in Reknesvika, Stad, leaving the cyclist involved in critical condition. The incident, which completely shut down the road, is being classified as serious by local police.
According to operations leader Stein Rune Øyjordsbakken Halleraker of the Vest police district, the cyclist’s injuries are grave and require immediate medical attention. "The status of the cyclist’s injuries must be assessed by healthcare professionals, but what we can confirm is that this incident appears to be a serious accident," Halleraker stated in a police log.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, where the cyclist was found unconscious and provided with life-saving first aid. The road remained closed following the incident, causing significant traffic delays in the area.
