Helen McBride (née Reilly) of Drumdreeney, Culloville, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, and formerly of Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, passed away peacefully at her home on December 21st, 2025. She was surrounded by family at the time of her death.

A Life Remembered

Helen is remembered with love by her husband, Frankie, and her daughters, Emma (Phelim) and Chloe (James). Her family also includes her grandchildren, Darcie, Zara, and Darragh, as well as her parents, Bernie and Seamus.

She is also survived by her brothers, Finbarr, David, Colm, and Derek, and her sister, Eithne, along with her extended family, colleagues at Mol an Óige in Inniskeen, and friends and neighbors.

Funeral Arrangements

Viewing will be held at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Monday, December 22nd, from 3pm to 7pm. A funeral cortège will depart from her home in Drumdreeney on Tuesday, December 23rd, and proceed to St. Lastra’s Church in Donaghmoyne for Funeral Mass at 11am.
