Aisha Aurum is expanding her creative pursuits into photography, a craft inherited from her father, professional photographer Jerry Aurum, while preparing for critical primary school graduation exams in Singapore. Her mother, Denada, confirmed the development on Oct. 1, 2026, noting that the artistic talent appears to run naturally in the family.
Photography Talent Discovered Through Family Interaction
Denada stated that she initially did not notice her daughter’s growing interest in visual arts. The hidden talent surfaced during conversations between Aisha and Jerry Aurum, which prompted the professional photographer to surprise his daughter with a hands-on learning opportunity.
Following that surprise, the father and daughter participated in photography-hunting sessions together. Denada mentioned at the Trans TV Studio in Tendean, South Jakarta, that Aisha found the outdoor shooting sessions quite enjoyable and engaged with the medium enthusiastically.
Balancing Artistic Pursuits With Academic Priorities
Despite Aisha’s positive reception to photography and her existing passions for writing and music, Denada is deliberately slowing down her daughter’s creative schedule. The primary focus remains on upcoming primary school graduation examinations in Singapore, which Denada described as crucial for the child’s future.
To ensure academic success, Denada permits artistic activities strictly as leisure pursuits outside of dedicated study hours. She emphasized that studying takes absolute priority over all other extracurricular and artistic projects at this stage.
